Duck Camp is seeking an ambitious, organized and experienced individual to lead our Wholesale division.  This is a pivotal role that is responsible for developing and executing our wholesale strategy to drive revenue growth, expand our market presence and strengthen relationships with key retail partners.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement the wholesale business strategy to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share targets.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align wholesale goals with Duck Camp’s overall vision and strategy.
  • Develop and manage the wholesale budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Craft competitive seasonal sales programs that support product launches, increase market share and inventory turns in wholesale.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing wholesale team of internal and external reps as well as operational coordinators by fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
  • Coach sales representatives on best practice product presentations and merchandising strategies.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key wholesale accounts and strategic partners.
  • Ensure sales reports are generated and distributed to leadership and reps in a timely manner.  Identify new tools or processes to lead to more efficient and accurate reporting.
  • Own the B2B business platform and work cross-functionally to ensure all information is accurate.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Product on B2B assets such workbooks, fixtures and POP materials.
  • Develop seasonal strategy for trade shows, sales meetings and other B2B focused events.
  • Partner with Product & Operations on Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy and execution.
  • Own the sales calendar and deliver items on-time and on-budget.
  • Attend industry shows and travel to retail accounts to strengthen Duck Camp’s market presence and network.
  • Collaborate with CX and Dealer Services to ensure best-in-class business operations and retail support.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in wholesale sales within the Outdoor or Hunt/Fish industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Exceptional business acumen with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities of our industry.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable plans.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to influence peers and an organization, as well as to inspire and motivate a team to achieve excellence.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and a love for the outdoors.
