Job Description & Requirements
Come work and ride in beautiful Crested Butte, Colorado this summer!
For this position we are looking to hire a full time experienced Bike Mechanic fully capable of ALL aspects of bicycle repair.
This is a seasonal job from May - October.
Our ideal candidate is able to complete without assistance all or most of the following:
- Diagnose and recommend repairs for all types of bicycles from Road, Kids, to MTB to E-bike.
- Wheel building of all rim sizes and hub configurations.
- Hydraulic brake installation/bleeds of different manufacturers and specifications.
- Suspension service including dampers.
- Dropper seatpost installation/service.
- Frame up bike build.
- eBike motor/system diagnostics/relpacement a plus.
This is a mechanics position where ~90% of your job is to work on bikes, but applicant must also have customer service skills! In this job you will be required to talk to customers on a regular basis. We are a small shop, with sometimes a lot going on at once. We ask that employees be team players, and be able to jump in and help where needed.
