Job Description & Requirements

We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join the Suburban Sports team! You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the retail sales team. We are looking for someone with extensive bike and ski knowledge who can help train staff to stay at the forefront of new technologies. Retail management experience is preferred but any passionate enthusiasts will be considered for the position.

We are also hiring for sales and service positions. Below are the qualifications for the Assistant Manager role. 

Responsibilities:

• Supervise team of retail sales workers
• Coordinate and execute innovative community events to enhance brand image
• Train and evaluate employee performance
• Track and maintain product inventory levels
• Understand sales data and trends for business forecasting
• Resolve escalated customer complaints

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail, customer service, or other related fields
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities
• Extensive bicycle and ski knowledge
• Active participation in our sports
