We are a dynamic business with offices in Perth, Sydney, Germany, China and Hong Kong and our growing Perth-based export team are now seeking a suitably qualified and experienced International Sales Manager.

The role and work environment

Reporting to the General Manager - Export and based in our Perth head office, your role's primary objective is to accelerate sales, drive growth internationally and continue to elevate the Sea to Summit brand products that equip and inspire adventure in the outdoors.

Custom-designed by one of our Senior Product Designers, our Perth workplace enjoys a product testing and sampling area, photo studio and showroom. The light-filled open plan space encourages healthy outdoor lifestyles and features height adjustable workstations, greenspaces with native Australian plants, a rooftop swimming pool and change rooms with showers.

About you

As an experienced, talented, highly motivated International Sales Manager, you will have a proven track record for driving sales growth within the European markets. Key to this role will be proven experience in the B2B environment at an international level within the Outdoor Industry.

Role accountabilities:

=         Sales Forecasting, Analysis and Strategic Planning that includes existing sales channels, and includes new business development.

=         Develop clear international sales strategies to support the business objectives

=         Build and maintain sound business partnerships with key retailers and distributors

=         Buyer presentations and range showings to international distributors and major accounts

=         Manage planned business review meetings with customers and distributors

=         Ensure customer service standards are to brand guidelines

=         Achieving and exceeding sales volume targets and ensuring portfolio growth per distribution channel

=         Compile and issue product guides to all markets and develop product education strategies

=         Ensure that the product range is merchandised as per brand strategy and style guide

=         Build P&L by market and monitor performance against strategic plan

=         Comprehensive understanding of the principles used in the pricing strategies

=         Review weekly forecast and metric reports and provide analysis and recommendations for actions

=         Lead and assist in international market research and analysis to identify prospective accounts within the European market

=         Communicate to the business significant developments with international customers, markets and/or industries 

Role requirements:

=         Must be willing to relocate to Perth, Western Australia

=         Minimum of five years international sales experience in the outdoor industry or at an esteemed consumer product brand and preferably within the European market

=         Strong analytical, verbal, written and personal presentation

=         Passion for the outdoors and outdoor gear.

=         Demonstrated ability to independently manage and prioritise multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

=         Detail oriented, diligent and meticulous.

=         Team-oriented and collaborative.

=         Must read, speak, write, and understand the English language.

=         Must be willing and able to travel internationally regularly (at least 40%)
