Their desire to raise the profile of their brand showed itself literally in 1982, when Sunice outfitted a team making Canada's first ever attempt to summit Everest. The ascent continued in 1988 when the pioneering brand was selected as an Official Supplier to the Winter Olympics in Calgary.
