Industrial Revolution, Inc. was founded in Redmond, Washington in 1971. After a few years of making metal parts for K2, JanSport, and other Outdoor companies, we introduced our Original Candle Lantern. This lantern became a staple outdoor accessory. UCO quickly became the world leader in the production of Candle Lanterns with designs and accessories that were superior to all other available products. Innovation has been a cornerstone of the company ever since. Over the last 12 years, we have focused on expanding our product offerings. We are now home to a wide variety of products and brands. Our portfolio includes both in-house brands, like UCO and Pedco, and exclusively distributed European brands, such as Morakniv, Esbit and Light My Fire. With each addition to our product family, we focus on outdoor products that are high quality, uniquely innovative and affordable. We are currently based just south of Seattle. Mt. Rainier and the Green River are out our back door. Literally.
