The Town of Frisco is hiring for two full-time manager level positions at the Frisco Bay Marina! At just over nine thousand feet above sea level, this full-service, certified clean marina is your access point to pristine alpine waters and world-class sailing, just across the road from a vibrant Main Street in Frisco. We are seeking a Marina Operations Manager and a Marina Guest Service Manager to join our team.

Salary: The pay range for both positions is $64,785.40 - $97,178.10 annually

Marina Operations Manager

The Marina Operations Manager is responsible for conducting daily business as well as long and short-term planning and implementation of all aspects of Marina management. This person is a problem solver capable of close attention to detail in matters of personnel, guest service, facility upkeep, facility operations, budget and emergencies. The Marina Manager must be versatile in all aspects of Marina operations and will work closely with the Service Manager to ensure Marina rental fleet is well maintained and in service. The person in this position must have the ability to build trust and collaboration between Marina staff, and will assume the duties of the General Manager in his/her absence.

Marina Guest Services Manager

·         This business management-oriented role provides excellent communication and service to rental sports guests and boaters. This person must be versatile in all aspects of the Marina operations and performs managerial, clerical, administrative, and data processing work. Under the direction of the Marina General Manager, the guest service manager oversees the rental sports operation including, personnel, rental reservations, finances, and safety. This position also manages boat storage reservations, payments and budget, and waitlists, as well as the Marina store, including maintaining inventories of marina merchandise, bait, fuel, ice and beverages. We are looking for someone with proven business management background that includes business communication skills.

Minimum Requirements:            

·         High school diploma or GED

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office

·         At least five (5) years of previous guest services experience

·         At least three (3) years of recreation or hospitality experience

·         At least three (3) years of previous supervisory experience

·         Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

·         Considerable knowledge of general boat handling, mooring and docking practices applicable to the operation and use of Marina facilities

·         Wet and dry Marina experience, good working knowledge of boat operation, standard safety precautions, and proven business management background

Preferred Experience:

·         RecTrac software experience

·         At least one (1) years of previous marina experience (highly preferred)

·         Bachelor’s degree

·         Aquatic Nuisance Species Inspection Certification- preferred (Provided by the Town)

·         Spanish language proficiency - Compensated based on proficiency measurement from the American Council of the Teaching of Foreign Languages structure
