Job Description & Requirements

Peter Glenn Ski and Sports is the country's premiere ski and snowboard retailer. We are a lively group of internet-savvy people who are looking for someone with experience in skiing and winter products to join our customer service team. You'll help customers shop for gear, resolve problems, answer customer inquiries, and help develop ways for us to better serve our customers.

This position is remote, and you will work remotely alongside our Customer Service team in our Fort Lauderdale, FL, E-commerce office. All equipment you will need for this position will be provided to you by Peter Glenn

Hours are typically Monday-Friday with some additional evening hours. During our busy season we work Saturdays and Sundays as well.

You'll be the first point of contact for customers with questions and issues. You will help customers have the best possible shopping experience by meeting their needs, whether it be solving order issues, or finding a jacket for their next ski trip!

Responsibilities:

- Answer customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, and on the website.
- Responding to "Q & A" on products
- Screening orders and sales for fraud
- Working with shipping carriers to resolve shipping inquiries
- Managing customer warranty requests
- Other various duties as assigned

Requirements:


- Associates Degree or some college background
- Knowledge of outdoor gear, ski/snow experience, or cold weather product experience is a MUST
- 2 plus years of experience in sales, inventory management, customer service, outdoor goods retail, or call centers
- Proven ability to proactively learn and solve problems
- Demonstrated excellent customer service skills
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must know how to use Word, Outlook, and Excel programs
- Detailed-oriented and self-taught and driven
- Must be able to sit for long periods at a time
