TITLE: Planning & Purchasing Analyst
HOURS: Full-time
LOCATION: Brooklyn, New York. BioLite has a hybrid work model where employees are in office 2-3 days per week.
REPORTS TO: Sales & Operations Planning Manager
COMPENSATION: Salary range is $60,000 - $75,000 depending on candidate experience. Salary is competitive with other early-stage companies, including benefits, bonus plan, and equity stock options.

This Role:
BioLite is looking for a Planning & Purchasing Analyst to build and maintain tools for planning and purchasing data management. You’ll manage the tools we’ll use to deliver against our demand plan efficiently and on time. You’ll support the purchasing team with daily purchase order and pricing management, including purchase order entry and historical cost tracking. You’ll also get to work closely with leadership to build and implement better processes around cost management and demand planning, directly contributing to hitting our financial targets. You’ll report to the Sales & Operations Planning Manager and work closely with the purchasing, logistics, sourcing, and manufacturing teams.
You Will:
- Support the monthly forecasting process with the sales teams;
- Maintain Tableau inventory dashboards to keep them up to date to support inventory management and ordering;
- Prepare monthly data for essential ordering decisions as supply and demand plans shift;
- Prepare data for Monthly Business Review (MBR) meetings to identify trends, share insights, and implement changes or improvements;
- Improve automation of reporting and data sources to ensure ease of maintenance, scalability, and data integrity;
- Maintain and improve Operations team KPI dashboard to be shared cross-functionally;
- Share data insights from planning / inventory data across teams to inform decision making;
- Support with and maintain accuracy of Purchase Order entries in NetSuite;
- Support with and maintain accuracy of Purchase Order cost tracking;
- Participate in ad-hoc improvement and data projects with strategic importance to the business.
You Have:
- 2+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, or planning role; preferably in consumer products, e-commerce, manufacturing supply chain, management consulting, or a related industry;
- BA/BS from an accredited institution; a degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Data Science, Supply Chain or related field a plus;
- Experience working on data analysis in Excel / Google Sheets (can maintain complex spreadsheets);
- Experience collaborating across departments to execute on projects;
- Willingness to learn or experience with SQL, Asana, Tableau, NetSuite, and other technology systems.
- Comfort organizing and presenting data clearly in excel using formulas, pivot tables, and visuals;
- Comfort balancing multiple competing demands on your time and establishing priorities;
- Comfort discussing technical concepts, managing trade-offs, and evaluating opportunistic new ideas across partners;
