Access Fund - Jeep Conservation Team

OVERVIEW

The Access Fund – Jeep Conservation Team (CT) is Access Fund’s premier stewardship program offering. Since 2011, the program has met the growing demand for climbing area stewardship and sustainability. Access Fund is currently hiring for two Conservation Teams for 2022 - Conservation Team Special Projects & Conservation Team Community Connections.

CT Special Projects (CTSP) will require team members to be proficient in a breadth of trail and recreation infrastructure construction techniques and equipment. Teams must possess a passion for climbing and travel, proven technical trail-building skills, ability to manage varied field resources, excellent communication skills, volunteer coordination experience, and exceptional team compatibility.

CT Community Connections (CTCC) seeks two climbers who are passionate about connecting with our growing and diverse climbing community, particularly those from underrepresented communities, through stewardship and education. The CTCC will work to further the mission of Access Fund by participating in and facilitating events and projects that foster the role of stewardship and education in the sustainability of our climbing areas.

Only pre-paired teams will be considered; Access Fund will not place individuals in a team. Teams will be selected for its ability to promote the mission and values of Access Fund while making critical improvements to climbing resources across the U.S. The 2022 Conservation Team program runs from February 14, 2022 through December 2, 2022.
