Job Description & Requirements

Summary/Objective:

 

The DC Pro must maintain accuracy and efficiency in order fulfillment throughout the pick, pack, and ship process, the operation and maintenance of machine lifts is required along with maintaining a clean an orderly work area, replenish product into locations throughout the distribution center. Load and unload containers and trucks as the need arises.

      Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

•      Preform all Inbound, and Outbound, and Restock tasks and processes when and where the need arises.
•      DC Pro’s will be required to change processes quickly as priorities change.
•      Train on and operate power equipment safely.
•      Repetitive lifting of up to 50 pounds
•      Be responsible for self-direction
•      Creative Problem solving and continuous improvement.
•      Understand and execute Vendor Specific shipping guidelines.

       Job Qualifications:

•      Work well in a team environment and promote a team dynamic.
•      Work effectively under pressure, respond positively to change, attention to detail, attendance, etc.
•      Strong communication skills.
•      Operation ad proper maintenance of a forklift and other mechanical equipment is required.
•      Willingness to take initiative and work effectively without close supervision.
•      Maintain accuracy and quantity of work under pressure of changing priorities adaptable and flexible.
•      A sense of humor is required for survival!

 Working Environment/Physical Activities: 

·         Ability to sit for period of times at the computer/phone.

·         Possible heavy lifting, bending whilst assisting other departments.

·         Ability to possibly stand for durations of time.
