WeCycle is a busy bike shop in beautiful Key West, Florida. Relocation assistance available. We are a high volume commuter repair and rental bicycle shop. Our bicycle mechanics service all types of bikes.
WeCycle in is actively searching for a knowledgable lead bike mechanic / service manager. Minimum 3+ years bike mechanic experience in a bicycle shop.
Knowledge of Lightspeed POS highly desirable. Knowledge of QBP and JBI catalogs preferred. Electric bicycle knowledge is a huge plus. Must be proficient in all aspects of bicycle repair and service department operations. Punctuality and professionalism required. We service all makes and models, from rust-bucket Huffys to high-end road bikes. Please keep this in mind when applying.
Responsibilities include:
- Day-to-Day repairs, building new bikes and rental fleet maintenance
- Ordering for service department needs and expendables
- Management and training of junior mechanics
- This is a key holder position, opening and closing of shop
- Provide excellent customer service to the Stock Island and Key West cycling community
- Maintain a positive attitude consistent with WeCycle Customer Service Philosophy
- Assist with other activities as requested
- Assisting with awesome special events, like the World Famous Zombie Bike Ride.
