Insite Performance is looking for a qualified candidate to fill a Director of Sales position responsible for account management and global sales expansion. This position will be based in Portland, OR. Our new Director of Sales should be prepared to work hard, think strategically, travel internationally, adapt & pivot to a fast-paced and constantly changing environment, and be committed to working as a team member and leader to increase sales and their own personal growth. 

Target start date ASAP 

The Candidate Responsibilities: 

= Direct and manage the global sales team to meet company revenue goals set by leadership. 

o Manage and implement sales forecasting to set short and long-term strategic sales goals. 

o Coordinate marketing efforts. 

o Establish high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency for the sales organization. 

o Hold regular sales team meetings. 

o Train and onboard new sales team members. 

= Responsible for global revenue growth for existing and new Brand accounts through a consultative sales approach, and offering the following services and core competencies: 

o Schedule appointments with existing and new customers to review product requirements and determine available opportunities. 

o Conduct customer service by meeting with clients on a frequent basis, on the phone, video streaming or in-person as needed. 

o Serve as the point person between the manufacturer and the client (brand office) offering product development and design solutions. 

o Partner with our Asian-based account management and manufacturing teams to ensure consistent customer service and seamless product delivery. 

o Oversee onboarding of new clients (brands). 

o Regularly seek out and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials. 

o Create sales presentations of the products and services, assist in seasonal product launches, marketing, trade shows, sales tools, and material developments. 

o Strong understanding of biomechanics and communicating technical properties of footwear products. 

o Knowledge of material manufacturing and international manufacturing procedures, timelines, duty and tariff structures. 

The Candidate Requirements: 

= 10+ years of sales experience; some management experience preferred. 

= Works well in an international team environment. 

= Strong understanding of biomechanics and human movement. 

= Excellent written and oral communication, and the ability to communicate effectively through Microsoft Office & CRM Software. 

= Entrepreneurial spirit and able to work independently. 

= Strategic thought process to solve complex problems. 

= Domestic and international travel will be required; valid driver’s license and passport needed. 

= References are required.
