Who is Exped?

EXPED USA is a subsidiary of the outdoor brand, EXPED AG of Zurich, Switzerland. With an office in Tacoma, Washington, our small team works as a distributor (sales, marketing, customer service, shipping, logistics) of EXPED’s tents, sleeping mats, sleeping bags, backpacks, and other innovative outdoor gear.

What Will You Do?

As a member of the Customer Service team, the Warranty & Repair Specialist will be responsible for receiving and processing customer repairs and returns.  This role will also provide a high level of service and support to Exped’s customers.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

=         Two years or more experience in Outdoor Industry customer service or retail sales

=         Two years or more experience in warranty and repairs services

=         Excellent written and verbal skills

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

=         Maintain a clean and organized repair shop

=         Evaluating, testing, and repairing customer returns

=         Processing warranty replacements and credit memos

=         Resolve customer warranty claims

=         Facilitate the shipping of repairs, replacements, and parts

=         Maintain inventory of parts and repair supplies

=         Manage warranty returns reports

=         Become knowledgeable about all aspects of Exped’s product line

=         Assist in maintaining company databases

=         Assist in developing and improving processes/procedures 

=         Assist with other Customer Service duties as needed

=         Support Sales and Marketing as needed

=         Responsible for opening and closing office

All duties and tasks will be performed in a positive and professional manner, according to Exped LLC policies and procedures.
