Job Description

Your job responsibilities will include, but may not be limited, to the following:

General Marketing Responsibilities

  • Manage all non-digital marketing for the company and activities within the marketing department
  • Develop marketing strategy and budgets for the company in line with company objectives
  • Ideate, coordinate and manage marketing campaigns with sales activities.
  • Oversee the company’s marketing budget
  • Create marketing materials in line with marketing plans
  • Plan and implement promotional campaigns
  • Assist with lead generation campaigns, measuring results
  • Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications
  • Work closely with design agencies and assisting with new product launches
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives
  • Analyze potential strategic partner relationships for company marketing


Events Responsibilities

  • Identify key events, internal team training for attendees, maintain pre- and post-show communication, and event attendance
  • Develop event strategy and objectives; spearhead initiatives to meet objectives based on lead generation, customer advocacy, and more.
  • Review and negotiate contracts company events and tradeshows
  • Work with marketing and sales teams to organize and staff customer and sponsored events
  • Analyze, track, and report on event and tradeshow ROI, MQL metrics using CRM, email marketing, project management, and similar systems
  • Assist marketing with Influencer and Sponsor shooter programs, onsite activations and support to the sales team with Dealer Shows as required
  • Work with Creative/Design agencies to ensure a successful event presence
  • Build relationships Company customers and prospects
  • Responsible for ordering, tracking and maintain event inventory include collateral giveaways, swag etc.
  • Interact with key decisions makers and accountholders
  • Travel is required

Compensation - starting at $65,000

Job Requirements

=       Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising, Communications or related

=       3-7 years of industry experience preferred

=       Hunting/shooting/outdoor industry experience is strongly recommended and preferred

=       Must have proven experience managing brands and achieving KPIs

=       Strong understanding of current online marketing and brand concepts, strategy and best practice.

=       Location: Houston, TX
