Job Description

Outback Trading Co. is looking for a self-starter, result driven, individual to fill the National Sales Manager Position. The primary responsibility of this position is to grow our Wholesale Business within the Outdoor Industry through implementing successful sales and marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will have experience within the Outdoor Industry with a proven track record of growing wholesale business. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask and have a positive, energetic attitude.

Requirements

         Directing and coordinating all sales activities locally and regionally

         Ability to set sales targets and achieve them effectively

         Ability to design and implement a successful sales strategy

         Work with Marketing to identify new account & lead nurturing opportunities

         Preparing sales budgets and projections and approving expenditures

         Advising distributors and dealers on policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

         Implement CRM workflow for lead conversion of new accounts and organizing Set up of (loyalty programs, promotion calendars, EDMs, etc.) for existing business.

         Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills

         Experience using CRM to manage the sales process and forecast sales

         Planning and directing the hiring and training of new Sales Representatives guide and mentor

         Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns

         Planning, organization, and problem-solving skills

         Advanced time management skills

=         Be a team player and work closely with the management team

Specific Requirements:

=         5 years of experience is a similar role required

=         Familiarity within the Outdoor Industry

=         Experience with CRM, POS, and efficient computer skills

=         Ability to travel regularly

=         College Degree required
