ZOLEO Channel Sales Manager

Job Summary:

Roadpost is looking for a ZOLEO Channel Sales Manager to cover the U.S. market.  ZOLEO is an exciting new satellite communications device and smartphone app that enables global messaging with your smartphone, from the north pole to the south, whether in or out of cellular coverage.

You will be responsible for building on ZOLEO’s great reviews and early sales success by identifying and securing new channel relationships, cultivating relationships with existing ZOLEO dealers, and promoting sell through.  Target channel partners include:

=         National, regional and local outdoor adventure gear retailers

=         Cellphone, two-way radio and other communications dealers in fringe coverage areas

=         Marine dealers and other specialty retailers

Job Overview:

In the newly created position of ZOLEO Channel Sales Manager, you will play a key role in accelerating ZOLEO’s sales growth by identifying potential channel partners, initiating outbound contact and bringing new dealers on board within a defined territory. You will also qualify and develop inbound dealer leads. In addition, you will help coordinate, implement and present product training programs as needed, and will be expected to build and maintain a positive rapport with our ZOLEO channel partners.

Your activities will be backed by Roadpost’s sales support and marketing teams, whose objective is to work with you to develop and present a compelling and professional program backed by responsive and comprehensive dealer support.  At the consumer level, ZOLEO’s go-to-market strategy includes extensive social media, product review, product ambassador and digital marketing programs, helping to promote strong sell-through.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Leverage product and market knowledge to create compelling sales and channel evolution strategies
  • Develop, maintain and share ZOLEO product knowledge with dealers
  • Coordinate and deliver training seminars and coordinate associated training activities with little to no supervision
  • Attend and coordinate trade shows and channel events
  • Create and make sales presentations to prospects and existing partners
  • Support channel partners as required in larger-scale corporate sales opportunities
  • Identify and communicate market and product requirements to product development and marketing teams
  • Participate in shaping and evolving ZOLEO channel partner programs to support the growth and evolution of the brand
  • Manage and update CRM database

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates possess at least two to five years’ experience in sales and/or marketing with a proven track record of success.  Other requirements include:

  • A strong customer and relationship focus
  • Knowledge of and a passion for the outdoor life
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced and challenging environment
  • Computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and Web tools
  • A team player who can contribute and thrive in a cooperative, diverse and flexible company culture
  • Experience in travel, recreation and/or outdoor marketplace is preferred
  • Flexibility to travel (20% to 40% of time or greater)

 This sales position can be Remote, Work from Home, Virtual or Telecommuting
