ABUS Mobile Security is based in Chicago, IL and is responsible for sales and marketing of our industry leading line of  bicycle and motorcycle locks and helmets within the US and Canada. 

ABUS continues to grow in North America and we are looking to expand our sales team.   The ideal candidate will have a passion for bicycles, motorcycles is a plus, and the ability to work independently.   This position would be responsible for representing ABUS in the Central United States.

Job Expectations:

• ABUS is looking for an experienced sales representative with a passion for bicycles and the ability to promote our industry leading line of locks and helmets.  
  

• The candidate is expected to educate outside distributor reps on products features and benefits.  This will require the candidate to travel regularly and efficiently with selected sales reps from our distributors, as well as independently.  The position will require extensive overnight travel.
  

• The sales representative will be expected to visit shops and train employees on product specs and sales techniques.  
  

• The sales representative will be expected to attend both consumer and industry events and exhibitions during regular business days as well as weekends as part of their responsibilities. 
  

• Keep accurate reports with respect to sales forecast, achievement and prospecting utilizing our CRM system.
  

• The sales representative will report to the general manager communicating critical market information including customer responses, feedback, and data.
  

• Ideally, the sales representative will have experience in the outdoor industry, or a passion for bicycles, motorcycles and other outdoor activities.
