Warehouse Operations Associate (Bicycle industry)

Avant Sports, a fast growing manufacturer in the bicycle industry (we build the Aventon and 6KU Bikes product lines) has an immediate opening for the role of Warehouse Operations Associate at our City of Industry, CA location.

Summary: 

Our operations team is responsible for timely and accurate shipping, receiving, and handling of our bicycle product lines in our City of Industry, California warehouse location. Employees in this role will load and unload containers, work with palletized freight, and pick/pack/confirm orders to our customers.

Reports to: 
Operations Manager

Supervisory Responsibilities: 
None

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Pick/pack/confirm orders
• Contribute to inventory accuracy
• Ship orders with USPS/FedEx/UPS and LTL carriers
• Load and unload shipping containers
• Process FBA (fulfillment by Amazon) shipments
• Safely use warehouse operations tools like pallet jack, shrink wrap, label printers, etc.
• Label, package, and put away product
• Perform all work in a safe, timely, and accurate fashion

Qualifications and Skills: 

• The ideal candidate for this position will bring experience in the cycling industry; either through relevant career experience or as an active participant.
• Internet-savvy and comfortable with office applications (PC/Mac, word processor, spreadsheet, web browsers, mobile devices)
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs. Most of our shipments are boxed bicycles that weigh 30-65lbs
