We are currently seeking an experienced Hiring Manager to continue this mission. We are looking for the right candidate who has documented industry experience and will take ownership of this opportunity.
The
Next Adventure Hiring Manager is responsible for recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and conducting initial training to get the strongest possible candidate into each open position. As the first point of contact for most employees, the Hiring Manager plays a critical role in introducing new hires to the culture of the company, and forecasting what makes a successful Next Adventure employee. This position is deeply tied to the staff and the leadership, and facilitates an open communication loop throughout the company.
The Hiring Manager works
very closely with the HR team and has many interconnected responsibilities.
This is a full time, salaried position that reports directly to the
Administrative Operations (AO!) Manager.
Qualifications:
- Has performed all aspects of the hiring process for a mid-sized
company of 150+ people or more.
- Trained in interview tactics.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Highly organized with a mind towards improving upon existing
systems, and creating new ones to increase efficiency and efficacy.
- Ability to juggle competing priorities, in a deadline oriented
environment, acting quickly to maximize on opportunities.
- Must be able to concentrate on details while maintaining a clear
vision of the big picture.
- Creativity, initiative and flexibility are necessary.
- History of effectively working independently and with teams.
- Keen eye for qualities of people that excel in customer service.
- Has worked in the Outdoor Industry and understands the unique
hiring needs for the industry (preferred).
- Skilled in Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, and project management
and payroll software, preferably Asana and Paylocity.
