Sourcing and Supply Chain Coordinator
EcoVessel is a rapidly growing, Boulder based company that designs and creates high-performance, reusable water bottles and other insulated drinkware products. Our mission is to combine modern styling and performance while seeking to reduce single-use plastics. We are seeking a full-time Sourcing and Supply Chain Coordinator to work with our product designer and logistics team.
This position will assist with international sourcing, product development, US operations and manage International logistics as more fully outlined below.
We are looking for driven, self-motivated candidates to join our dynamic team.
Sourcing and International Supply Chain:
- Assist with sourcing new products from international manufacturers, primarily from China and other parts of Asia.
- Tracking PO timeliness and new product launch timelines and communicate with factories for updates.
- Ongoing communication with various factories regarding samples, pricing, requirements, etc.
- Maintain Production Schedule and update company and sales team with product notifications/updates.
- Maintain Factory Direct Schedule for international distributors and get quotes for custom orders done at the factory.
- Be a resource for all production by consulting all production/product related inquiries/issues such as product testing, compliance, and meeting customer requirements.
- Support rework projects as requested and consult projects for accuracy.
- Approve/review factory invoices as requested by accounting.
Logistics
- Coordinate all customer details and logistics for FOB China and Factory Direct orders including order entry, customer invoicing, factory breakout notifications, customer follow up and factory/freight forwarder interface.
- Manage all logistics for production and shipping to US by working with factories and freight forwarder(s) to book inbound US shipments as well as customer direct orders.
- Maintain Order Tracking spreadsheets.
US Operations and Sales Support
- Solve problem areas for Sales Support team by reviewing Vendor Manuals and testing requirements as needed.
- Assist and manage custom printing and engraving projects in the US with 3rd party printers and engravers.
- Support/consult order form management on wholesale portal and product availability on our retail website.
- Support/consult warehouse related problems and create successful resolutions of problems.
- Be a resource for all logistics inquiries including inbound and outbound (International and Domestic) shipments.
- Approve/review freight invoices as requested by accounting dept.
Qualifications
Strong project management skills
Ability to manage multiple functions and responsibilities
Working knowledge of international sourcing, logistics, and project management
Strong analytical skills and the ability to sort through data and find solutions and recommendations
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus
Minimum of 1 year of experience in sourcing and logistics
