Job Description & Requirements
We are looking for a creative, experienced, and detail-oriented Events Coordinator. Working closely with the Events team, this person will bring their expertise, relationships, and on-the-ground know-how to drive new business and execute successful phone-free events from start to finish. The candidate will help source, plan, coordinate, and execute various events every week. The ideal candidate is looking to join a fast growing company based in San Francisco working on over 300 events / year.
Responsibilities:
New Partnerships
- Define and implement strategy to grow Yondr’s Events business globally
- Work with events team to create outbound pipeline, customer success metrics, marketing collateral, and processes for sales handoff to production team
- Travel for in-person meetings and important events
Customer Success
- Ensure that every customer feels supported and is successful in creating a phone-free events
- Manage smooth transition of sales to implementation to account management
- Meet with customers in-person to understand their pain points and evaluate theirneeds
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 4+ years in event planning / producing
- Optional 2+ years experience in sales and/or marketing
- Passionate about Yondr’s mission
- Excited to travel and be on the road
- Excited to work on the ground at events
- Open to working on weekends and at odd hours
- Understands the "language" of event / wedding planners
- Extreme attention to detail in all aspects of responsibilities
- Organized and efficient
- Communicates best in-person
- Pragmatic with a bit of whimsy
- Lover of live music and the outdoors
